And the famous giant pumpkin contest has only grown in size since a Guinness World Record was awarded in 2002 to Charlie Houghton of New Boston, New Hampshire, for his pumpkin weighing 1,337.6 pounds - and recent years have seen pumpkins weighing in at over 2,000 pounds! The Grange Museum houses historical material related to area farms as well as promotes the work of local 4-H youth groups. Guests also have access to an outdoor pool, complimentary Wi-Fi and continental breakfast.There are milking demonstrations in the cattle barn, and a livestock show highlights 4-H and youth entries. Many Massachusetts hotels are located within an easy drive of the Topsfield Fair, especially when you head south on Interstate 95. Lodging near the Topsfield Fair Massachusetts Head south to the fairgrounds, which will be on the left. If you're coming from the North of Boston region, head south on I-95 until Exit 53. Follow the highway until you find the Topsfield Fair Massachusetts grounds on the right. Take Interstate 95 to north to Route 1 at Exit 50. The fairgrounds are located at 207 Boston Street in Tospfield, which is Route 1. ![]() Additional tickets are needed for the rides and the marquee concerts at the Topsfield Fair Massachusetts. One day of the fair will have special discounts for members of the military, while another will provide discounts for senior citizens. A small parking fee is assessed per vehicle. Any time, children under the age of eight can enter the fairgrounds for free. Discounts are available for weekend visits, and full price is charged on the weekends and Columbus Day.
